We went to Cross Creek today for a large get together. About every other month or so I find a place for all of us to go and eat lunch and get all caught up. We all used to work together for many years and as we retired we decided to start meeting at various places for lunch. I called Cross Creek Steak House a few weeks ago and they said they can hold a section in the back for all of us. Today we had maybe around 20 of us. Everything was great today! The staff were super friendly and did a great job taking care of us! The food was great as usual. I got the Magnolia Salad with honey mustard. It was delicious as always. My wife got blackened white fish with sweet potato and coleslaw. She said it was very good! It was her first time getting this dish here. If you ever have a large group and need a place to eat definitely recommend Cross Creek! They will definitely do a great job! Thank you Cross Creek for a job well done today and everything you did to help us make our lunch great!

Ask for Emily! We went last night for the first time and really loved our entire experience. The decor is a lot of stuffed dead animals upon entrance. A little country vibe. First of all, no bbq place is solid without a good sweet tea and I absolutely could not get enough of theirs. My husband and I shared the brisket smokehouse nachos. We ordered the half order and we would have been full off of that alone if we ate the whole thing. So good. Our entrees are in the pics. so solid. Speaks for itself. our waitress was definitely the best part, kept our drinks full and a smile on her face the entire time.

Promptly seated but service was initially slow. However, once our waitress acknowledged us, we had great service for the remainder of the dinner. We started off with the fried squash and it was very tasty. Especially good with the dipping sauce. My wife had the filet snd she said it was delicious and cooked perfectly. My daughter had the fried shrimp and it was excellent as well. I wasn't that hungry so I just had cajun ranch wings. Basic but again, very tasty. Cross Creek is a Westside staple and they don't disappoint.

This locally owned Steakhouse reminds me of the old home town steakhouses that my family would take us to after church. I e always enjoyed the food and the servers. The prices are reasonable too! I usually get their wings, salad or chicken fried steak but everything I have had has been good so far. The 2 for 1 drinks are nice and the ranch dressing is house made! Yum!

Steak was really nice. Accommodated my restriction of no butter on broccoli, potato and steak itself. Cooked nicely. Tender.

Last night was my first time at Cross Creek. Went for a birthday celebration and they were easily able to accommodate a party of 20 with a reservation which was nice! I ordered the country fried steak which came with 2 sides- I got mashed potatoes with brown gravy (brown gravy on my steak too) and country green beans. Overall everything tasted great! Potatoes were yummy, gravy didn't necessarily taste homemade but it was still good and they didn't skimp on the gravy! The country fried steak had good flavor but wasn't as crispy as I wouldn't liked. The breading was falling off which is kind of the whole point of the dish. The steak itself was a little thicker than I like for my CFS which made it harder to cut and more tough. Overall it was still good and I enjoyed it. Service was a bit slow but that's to be expected with such a large party. I don't mind waiting for our food when we have a group that big. My only complaint is that half the table had their entrees while the other half were just getting their salads to start. Some of us had to wait quite awhile for our drinks and refills. There were two servers working our party and I know they were running around a lot so I do appreciate their hard work. They have 2-4-1 drinks all day everyday!
